국제교류를 위한 예술대학 무용 교육 연구 : 베트남의 무용 교육 사례를 중심으로

초록
본 연구는 우리나라 사회가 직면한 인구감소에 대비하여 예술대학의 새로운 생태구조를 마련하고자, 대상 교류 국가에 대한 무용 교육환경에 관한 구체적인 요소를 규명하고 교류의 실천 필요성을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 교육경력 25년 이상의 베트남 전문 무용 교육자 다섯 명을 선정, 베트남 무용 교육의 환경과 교육 방식을 중심으로 하여 문화 기술적 연구 방법으로 통한 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 증가하는 베트남 인구수에 비해 베트남 무용 교육 현장의 환경은 프로그램의 체계화된 시스템과 고급 예술 인력이 부족한 환경 구조를 가지고 있었다. 또한, 베트남의 경제발전과 인구 증가로 수준 높은 예술교육을 위한 인력이 필요한 상황이며, 한국 무용 교육의 체계화된 교육 시스템과 예술교육수준에 관한 관심이 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 나아가, 베트남 교육 현장에서는 무용 교육 교류와 관련된 인적, 재정적 지원과 함께 전문성을 갖춘 무용 교사의 필요성을 언급하였다. 본 연구에서는 감소하는 한국 예술대학의 무용 인구수의 확보 및 무용 교육 교류를 위한 새로운 교육 생태계의 방향을 제시하고, 이에 필요한 무용 예술대학의 전략적인 교육 환경변화의 필요성을 강조한다. 이 연구를 시작으로 교류 대상 국가에 관한 지속적인 연구를 통해 예술대학의 개방적 교육환경 구조를 확장할 수 있는 구체적인 방법과 프로그램 개발이 이어지길 기대한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to create a new ecological structure for art universities in response to the demographic challenges facing South Korea. To this end, we will summarize specific elements of the dance education environment in the exchange countries and suggest the need for exchange. As a research method, 5 Vietnamese dance educators with more than 25 years of teaching experience were selected. In-depth interview has conducted using the Ethnographic method, focusing on the environment and teaching methods of dance education in Vietnam. The results showed that compared to the increasing number of Vietnamese population, the environment of dance education in Vietnam lacked a systematic program system and professional artistic personnel. In addition, due to the economic development and population growth in Vietnam, there is a need for high-quality artistic education personnel, and there is a very high interest in the systematic education system and high level of Korean dance education. Furthermore, in the Vietnamese education field, it mentioned the need for dance teachers with expertise as well as human and financial support related to dance education exchange. This study suggests the direction of a new educational ecosystem for securing the declining dance population in Korean art university, and emphasizes the need for strategic changes in the educational environment of dance university. It is hoped that this study will lead to the development of concrete methods and programs that can expand the open educational environment structure of art university through continued research on target countries where exchanges are possible.
