국내 발레관련 연구동향 분석 (2018~2022)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 최근 5년 국내 발레관련 연구동향을 분석해 경향을 파악하는데 있다. 한국교육학술정보원(KERIS)의 학술연구정보서비스(RISS)를 활용해 최근 5년간 발행된 무용학 전체 관련 논문들을 검토 후, 총 4차의 분류단계를 거쳐 최종적으로 발레관련 연구로 분류된 386편(학술지논문 182편, 학위논문 204편)의 목록을 작성하여 발행연도, 연구방법, 연구분야, 발행기관, 발행지역, 분야별 연구방법, 분야별 발행기관 등의 기준으로 분석하였다. 발행기관은 학술지와 학위논문(석사, 박사), 연구방법은 질적과 양적연구로, 연구분야는 한국연구재단 학술연구분야분류표(2016년 개정)를 기본으로 연구자가 추가한 총 19개 영역으로 분류하였다. 또한 학술지는 무용전문 학술지과 그 외로, 학위논문 대학은 수도권과 그 외로 분류한 후 범주별, 항목별로 빈도분석을 하였다. 이에 따른 연구결과, 학술지와 박사학위 논문의 경우 연도별로 점증하는 양상을 보였으며 석사학위 논문은 감소 후 다시 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 연구방법은 전체적으로 질적 연구방법이 다소 많으나 특별히 우세하지 않았다. 연구분야의 경우 전체의 10% 이상을 차지하는 상위 5개 분야의 논문수는 총 137편(73.83%)으로, 이 중 가장 많은 비율을 나타낸 분야는 무용교육이며 이어서 무용심리학, 무용기능학, 무용비평, 무용사회학이 차지했다. 발행기관별 논문의 경우, 무용관련 학술지가 이외 학술지에 비해 그 수는 적으나 논문수가 상대적으로 높았으며 대학별 학위논문은 수도권 지역으로 상당히 편포되었음을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로, 최근 변화에 대응할 수 있는 연구 분류체계의 재정비와 발레관련 연구의 촉진을 위한 자료의 전문적 및 체계적 구축이 필요함을 제언하였다.

Abstract

The study aims to investigate the research trend of ballet studies from 1998 through 2022 by searching and analyzing published journal papers and academic theses in Korea. Ballet study papers were searched using RISS(Research Information Sharing Service) by the keyword of Ballet. A total of 386 (182 in academic journals, 204 in theses) were finally collected and classified by the year of publication, issuing institutions and degrees(journals and universities), research methods(qualitative and quantitative), research fields(19 fields), research method by field, and issuing institution by field. As a result of this study, there was a gradual increase by year in academic journals and doctoral dissertations. And master's dissertations showed a tendency to increase again after decreasing. Overall, qualitative research methods were rather large, but they were not particularly dominant. In the case of research fields, the number of theses in the top 5 fields is 137 (73.83%) in total. The field with the highest proportion among them is dance education, followed by dance psychology, dance kinesiology, dance criticism, and dance sociology. In the case of papers by publishing institutions, the number of dance-related journals was relatively low, while the number of theses was higher than non dance-related journals. In the case of dissertations by university, it was found that they were considerably distributed in the metropolitan area. Based on the results, revising the research classification system responding to recent changes and establishing professional and systematic data platforms to promote ballet studies were suggested for further studies.
