전주단오 문화콘텐츠를 활용한 지역축제 발전방안 연구 : 강릉단오제와 전주단오를 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 전주단오의 역사 문화 자원을 활용하여 지역축제로 개발하기 위한 발전방안을 모색하고, 유네스코 인류무형문화유산 대표목록인 강릉단오제와 비교 분석하여 특징을 살피고 개선점을 찾아 보다 나은 축제로의 발전을 위해 방안을 살펴보는 것이다. 이에 지역축제 프로그램 구성의 체계적인 분석을 위해 SWOT 분석을 활용한 접근 과정을 거쳐 향후 지역축제에 적용할 수 있는 문화콘텐츠 활용 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. SWOT 기법으로 문화 자원의 측면에서 전주시를 분석하여 강점 요인과 약점 요인을 파악하고, 활용 가능한 전주시의 문화 자원 현황을 수집하였다. 그렇게 수집된 문화 자원과 관광객과의 관계를 중심으로 지역 축제 개발방향을 설정하였다. 본 연구는 지역축제의 성장에 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있는 문화콘텐츠 프로그램의 중요성을 부각시키고, 더불어 체계적인 분석을 통해 학문적이면서도 실무적으로 적용시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시한다는 점에서 상당한 가치를 지닐 것으로 판단된다, 그러나 이 연구는 다음과 같은 제약이 따른다. 현재 국내 자료 중 전주단오와 관련된 선행연구가 현저히 부족하여 결과에 대한 담보는 다소 어려움이 있다.

The objective of this study is to seek ways for Jeonju Dano to be developed as a regional festival by utilizing its historical and cultural resources, to compare with Gangneung Dano-je which is a representative of UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage of humanity, to analyze characteristics between them, and to find improvements for a better festival. So for systematic analysis of the local festival programs, this study used SWOT analysis. It aims to present a utilization plan of cultural contents that could be applied to local festivals in the future. This study analyzed Jeonju City from the aspect of cultural resources with SWOT analysis to identify the factors of strength and collected the status of cultural resources available for utilization. We set the direction of local festival development based on the collected cultural resources and the relationship with tourists. This study is expected to have considerable value in that it highlights the importance of cultural content programs, which are major parts of the growth of local festivals, and also presents specific measures that can be applied both academically and practically through systematic analysis. But there are limitations in this study to the following. Currently, there are few previous studies related to Jeonju Dano among domestic literature, so it is somewhat difficult to guarantee the results.
